Three G's and an A

A week ago Aiden and I went with our friend Marcia to visit her sister in Galesburg. Our original reason was to take Aiden on her first train ride. But we forgot to take our camera on the train so I am posting of the whole day. We got on the train at 7am and that is earlier than Aiden is usually awake much less dressed and out the door. But Marcia's sister, Ronda, picked us up and we ran a few errands and then went home to meet the 3 G's. It was a fun fun time!! There is Gavyn (I hope I am spelling everyone's names right) who is two and then there are the twins. Gretchyn and Geneva just turned one. At first Aiden and Gavyn butted heads (both oldest kids) but they eventually got used to each other and had a blast!

This is a picture of Aiden, Gavyn, Gretchyn and Geneva in the dining room/playroom (renovations have made all rooms dual purpose).

Aiden and Gavyn started out fighting over this toy that was actually a gift for the girls but soon Aiden was singing to Gavyn and taking turns very well.

Gretchyn playing wit a plastic spoon.

Geneva cracking up after Marcia put her hands in her hoodie pockets.

Marcia with Gretchyn (that kid has her hands in everyone's mouths!)

Myself with Geneva (is it bad to have a favorite? I guess it is ok as long as they aren't mine)

Aiden and Gavyn were caught under the table. He was trying to kiss her (which is so funny 'cause we had given her a talk before we got there not to kiss Gavyn because she wasn't feeling 100% the day before).

She was cheesin' after he gave her a flower and ran off.

This is a picture taken after Aiden invited Gavyn into the bedroom to play the "nigh-night" game. It looks terrible if you don't already know that she had been having trouble keeping her dress straps up all day long. They also look really guilty! We got a good chuckle out of this one.

Guilty they were...just not sure exactly what the guilt is for. But notice she is still holding the flower.

We had such a good time with you. Gavyn still talks about Aiden. Maybe it's a good thing we don't live closer to each other-that way they don't get into too much trouble together. :-)
It was great to meet you guys and hope to see you again sometime soon.
